Senior SP leaders ready to join BJP, claims Rajbhar

There is growing activity in the political corridors of Uttar Pradesh. Om Prakash Rajbhar, Cabinet Minister in the Yogi government and President of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, has claimed that Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party is set to suffer a major blow in the near future.

Rajbhar said that, leaving aside discussions about West Bengal and Maharashtra, several prominent leaders of the SP in UP are also ready to join the BJP. Following this statement, political tension has increased ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
