Subhash Palekar urges Andhra Pradesh to reverse Green Revolution farm policies

Padma Shri recipient and natural farming advocate Subhash Palekar has called for Andhra Pradesh to reverse agricultural policies rooted in the Green Revolution era. Palekar argued that chemical residue accumulated in soil can be neutralised within a year through natural farming methods, offering an alternative to chemical-intensive practices.
The agricultural expert's push for policy change reflects growing interest in sustainable farming approaches across Indian states seeking to reduce chemical dependency and promote soil health through organic and natural methods.
