Supreme Court clears path for Kanchi bus terminus project

Work has commenced on the Kanchi bus terminus following Supreme Court clearance of legal obstacles that had blocked the project. The initiative faced significant delays over ten years due to prolonged litigation in the high court and later the Supreme Court, as well as time spent identifying suitable land for the facility.

With the legal bottlenecks now removed, the project is expected to progress toward completion. The bus terminus is a key infrastructure development for the city.
