Supreme Court dismisses challenge to A.P. high court order on land pooling scheme case

The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition challenging an Andhra Pradesh High Court order that quashed a land pooling scheme case against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and a minister.

The petition was filed by Alla Rama Krishna Reddy challenging the July 15 order of the A.P. HC. The Chief Justice of India, while disposing of the petition, remarked that political battles should not be fought in court.

The dismissal upholds the state high court's decision to quash the proceedings in the case.
