Survey ordered to trace 45 acres missing from records near KCR's farmhouse

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to issue a survey notification to identify 45 acres of land that are unaccounted for in Survey No. 325 in Erravalli village and its hamlet, Venkatapuram in Markook mandal of Siddipet district. The move follows allegations of 'land grabbing' against BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao regarding the construction of his farmhouse. Mr. Reddy reviewed the progress of the inquiry into the land matter, with Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and other senior officials in attendance.
Revenue records showed 388 acres in Survey No. 325 in Erravalli, while a recent survey established the availability of only 343 acres. Officials informed the Chief Minister that the 45-acre difference needs to be traced and accounted for. Notices have been issued to obtain the land records of former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his family members, whose land is located near Survey No. 325.
Mr. Reddy directed officials to issue a notification for a fresh survey covering Erravalli and Venkatapuram to establish the whereabouts of the missing land. He further directed that any land identified during the survey be distributed among eligible local farmers.
