Swiss President hails India-EFTA trade pact's first year of implementation

The India-European Free Trade Association Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement completed one year of implementation. Swiss President Guy Parmelin highlighted significant achievements and strong interest from companies across various sectors.

Parmelin said the pact is expected to substantially boost bilateral trade and attract long-term investment between India and the EFTA nations. During his current visit, Switzerland is seeking to deepen cooperation in business and technology sectors.
