Tamil Nadu records third consecutive year of decline in dengue cases

Tamil Nadu has continued its downward trend in dengue cases for the third year running, according to government health data. The state recorded 17,049 cases and nine deaths up to September 19 this year.
The decline reflects improvements in disease surveillance and vector control measures implemented across the state. Consistent year-on-year reduction in dengue incidence indicates strengthened public health interventions.
