Stalin slams Tamil Nadu budget as repackaged schemes without vision

Tamil Nadu's opposition leader M.K. Stalin has criticized the state government's budget, calling it a waste that merely repackages existing schemes without presenting new ideas. Stalin contended the budget lacked vision despite the finance minister's goal to build a $1.5 trillion economy by 2031.
Opposition parties also raised concerns about unfulfilled election promises and mounting debt. The budget allocated funds for schools, higher education, and welfare programmes, but critics argued these were recycled commitments rather than fresh initiatives.
