TDP Names JB Srinivas For Tirupati Mayor Post

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has named JB Srinivas as its candidate for the Tirupati Mayor post. This comes as part of the coalition arrangement following recent urban local body elections in the region.

Jana Sena, the TDP's alliance partner, has been allotted the Puttur municipality in Tirupati district. The BJP, despite being part of the National Democratic Alliance, has not secured any Mayor or Chairperson position in the urban local bodies across the erstwhile Chittoor district.
