Tejashwi Yadav Demands CM Samrat Choudhary's Resignation Over Jamui Harassment Case
Bihar's Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday demanded Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary's resignation following a harassment incident involving a boy and girl in Jamui district. Addressing a press conference in Patna, the RJD national working president alleged that law and order has completely collapsed in the state, describing it as "gundaraaj" and claiming "Bihar is being shamed".
A video circulated on Monday showing the duo being harassed by a group on a roadside in Jamui, sparking nationwide outrage. Several accused were subsequently arrested, and Bihar Police booked 120 social media profiles for circulating the viral video, taking down 132 accounts. Yadav criticized NDA leaders and ministers for downplaying the incident.
