Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's US visit cancelled after Centre denies permission

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has cancelled his planned visit to the United States after the Centre withheld permission for the official Telangana Rising delegation, the Chief Minister's Office announced on Friday. Reddy, currently in London, was originally scheduled to travel to the US and return to Hyderabad on August 30. He will now return directly from London, potentially on August 23.

The CMO stated that the Ministry of External Affairs declined to grant permission for the delegation led by the Chief Minister. Reddy arrived in London on August 20 for a UK visit that included engagements with Oxford University's Blavatnik School of Government, Cambridge University, University of London, and London Business School, among other scheduled programmes.
