Trump Declares Iran “Finished”, Vows US Will Give “Not Even Ten Cents” as War Rhetoric Escalates

US President Donald Trump has intensified his rhetoric against Iran, claiming that the country has been “severely weakened” after recent conflicts and asserting that Tehran’s military capabilities have been almost entirely dismantled.
In statements shared on his Truth Social platform, Trump said Iran had suffered major losses and alleged that it no longer retains functional air, naval, or air defence strength. He further claimed that the United States would not extend any financial assistance to Tehran, insisting that “not a single cent” would be given.
Trump also pushed back against political critics in Washington, dismissing arguments that Iran may have regained strategic strength in recent months. He accused opponents of misrepresenting the situation and maintained that the impact of the conflict had left Iran significantly diminished.
The US President additionally stated that any diplomatic engagement was not initiated under pressure from Washington, but rather by Tehran itself, reinforcing his position that Iran is on the back foot following the escalation.
Reiterating his hardline stance, Trump said the United States would continue to follow its current diplomatic timeline without offering concessions or economic relief. He framed the situation as one in which Iran had been forced into engagement due to its weakened position.
His remarks come amid ongoing geopolitical tensions and follow recent exchanges between US and Iranian leadership, with both sides trading accusations over negotiations and regional influence.
