Trump Says US Delays Iran Strike For Diplomatic Talks

US President Donald Trump said Sunday that the United States has agreed to postpone a planned military strike on Iran following requests from Tehran and other Middle Eastern nations to allow diplomatic efforts to proceed. Trump stated on Truth Social that Washington remains militarily prepared but has suspended the attack to enable talks.
Trump claimed that a framework for a potential agreement has been reached, involving the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and an end to Iran's nuclear programme. He said he has agreed to cancel the attack based on these requests, citing benefits for the world and Iran's future. Trump also stated that Israel supports pursuing the diplomatic path.
