Rekha Arya's husband denies murder allegations, accuses minister of corruption

Uttarakhand police have launched a probe following allegations levelled by state women and child development minister Rekha Arya against her husband Girdhari Lal Sahu. Arya has accused him of conspiring to murder her, subjecting her to repeated caste-based harassment, and forging her signatures to remove her from various positions without consent.

The FIR was registered a day before police announced the investigation on Friday. Sahu has denied the allegations and counter-accused Arya of corruption.
