5,500 children in 400 Vadodara anganwadis deprived of milk after Amul halts supply

More than 5,500 children attending 400 anganwadi centres in Vadodara have been left without milk following Amul's decision to stop supplying the nutrient-rich beverage to the government-run early childhood care centres.
The abrupt halt in milk distribution has raised concerns about the nutritional intake of young children who depend on these supplementary meals. Anganwadis form a critical part of India's public health infrastructure, providing nutrition and healthcare services to infants and young children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
