YSRC Seeks Central Forces for Elections, Alleges Police Bias

YSRC leader Gorantla Madhav has appealed to the Election Commission and the Governor to deploy Central forces during upcoming polls, citing alleged police bias and intimidation of Opposition candidates.
Madhav also demanded the suspension of the Kurnool District Inspector of Police, accusing the police of favouring the ruling party and harassing YSRC workers and candidates.
The demand comes as the Opposition party seeks to address what it claims are institutional irregularities that undermine fair electoral conduct. The YSRC has escalated its concerns to poll authorities, seeking intervention to ensure a level playing field.
