YSRCP protests DSC recruitment, clashes erupt in Andhra Pradesh

The YSR Congress Party staged protests against the DSC-2025 (Degree-level civil service) recruitment process in Andhra Pradesh, demanding a CBI inquiry. Clashes broke out in Vijayawada as police dismantled the protest camp and detained an ex-MLA and other workers. TDP leaders alleged the demonstration lacked proper permission and removed the protest tent.

Parallel protests continued in Visakhapatnam with YSRCP supporters initiating a hunger strike over recruitment concerns. The party has raised objections to the conduct and transparency of the DSC recruitment, citing irregularities.
