Uttarakhand's 'Devbhoomi Parivar Kanoon' comes into force; residents of 15 years to be given unique ID

The Uttarakhand government has implemented the 'Devbhoomi Parivar Kanoon' (Devbhoomi Family Law). Under this new system, citizens who have been residing in the state for the past 15 years will be provided with a Devbhoomi Parivar ID.

This unique family ID will help citizens access various government facilities and benefits. The objective of the law is to create a digital record of families in the state.
