Repair T1, don't force shift to Navi Mumbai: Aaditya Thackeray

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has opposed Adani Airport Holdings' directive asking airlines to shift 33% of their international flights from Mumbai's existing CSMIA to the new Navi Mumbai International Airport.
Thackeray argued that instead of forcing airlines and passengers to relocate, the focus should be on repairing and upgrading Terminal 1 at the current airport. He contended that such a measure would serve existing users better without disrupting established operations.
The development comes as Navi Mumbai International Airport ramps up operations and seeks to attract traffic from the existing facility.
