Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray hold joint protest in Mumbai against CEC

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray held a joint protest march in Mumbai on Sunday against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The rally, which proceeded from Metro Cinema to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters, was organised over allegations of voter list manipulation and irregularities in the special intensive revision process.
Heavy security was deployed at key locations as large crowds gathered at the protest site. Demonstrators carried placards and raised slogans demanding Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. Party workers, youths and women participated in the march.
MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar said the protest would be significant, with party members joining the Thackeray brothers. He stated that the march would have a lasting impact on the Chief Election Commissioner.
