Election Commission extends Maharashtra SIR deadline to October 12

The Election Commission of India has extended the deadline for submission of Statements of Income and Resources (SIR) in Maharashtra to October 12. The SIR filing is a mandatory requirement for candidates contesting elections.

The extension provides candidates additional time to complete and submit their financial disclosures to the Election Commission.
