Fadnavis recommends panel to probe MPSC chairpersons, members over paper leaks

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has recommended setting up a panel to investigate the chairpersons and members of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) over alleged paper leaks.

The recommendation follows sustained protests by MPSC aspirants who have raised concerns about irregularities in the commission's functioning and examination-related controversies. The agitation has highlighted growing discontent over the conduct of competitive exams conducted by the body.

The proposed inquiry committee is expected to examine the functioning of the MPSC leadership and address the issues flagged by aspirants.
