Five arrested for fake domicile and caste certificates in Uttarakhand medical admissions

Five individuals have been arrested in Uttarakhand for allegedly forging domicile and caste certificates to secure admission to medical colleges. The arrests were made following investigations into fraudulent documentation used in the medical college admission process.
The case highlights concerns over document fraud in higher education admissions, particularly in professional courses where caste-based reservations and state domicile norms play a significant role in merit-based selection.
