Fire breaks out at Asian Hospital NICU in Maharashtra; 58 patients rescued

A fire broke out at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of Asian Hospital in Maharashtra on Tuesday. Emergency responders swiftly evacuated 58 patients from the facility, including 9 newborns receiving critical care.

All patients were safely moved to other areas of the hospital or transferred to nearby medical centres. Firefighting teams brought the blaze under control, and there were no reported casualties. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire.
