NSUI protests education system crisis in Nashik, demands Maharashtra education minister's resignation

The National Students' Union of India (NSUI), Maharashtra, staged a protest in Nashik and submitted a memorandum to the District Collector's office demanding immediate action on education system issues.
The NSUI cited recurring paper leaks, recruitment scams, examination irregularities, delays in competitive exams including NEET and MHT-CET, and flaws in the 'Shalarth' ID management system as causes of distress to lakhs of students. The union also flagged issues in teacher recruitment, police recruitment, and revenue official selections.
Key demands include the resignation of Education Minister Dada Bhuse, implementation of a "Student Charter" to protect academic rights, regulation of CBSE school fees, inquiry into MKD Nursing College complaints, and reduced fee structures for cluster universities.
