Landslide blocks Adi Kailash route, over 350 pilgrims stranded in Uttarakhand
A landslide has blocked the mountain route to Gunji in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh district, halting pilgrimage traffic to Adi Kailash. More than 350 pilgrims were stopped at Dharchula as the geological event rendered the passage impassable.
The incident has disrupted travel along the popular pilgrimage route. Authorities are yet to issue updates on clearance efforts or estimated reopening timelines for the blocked passage.
