Maharashtra Cabinet Approves ₹6,477 Crore for Jayakwadi Irrigation Project Phase-II

The Maharashtra Cabinet has cleared ₹6,477 crore for Phase-II of the Jayakwadi Irrigation Project. The project is expected to provide irrigation facilities to approximately 1.31 lakh hectares of land.

The initiative will benefit farmers across Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Ahilyanagar, Beed, Parbhani and Nanded districts in the Marathwada region. The approval marks a significant step in expanding irrigation infrastructure in the state.
