Maharashtra ATS Books Fundamentalist Organisation Over Alleged Radicalisation Of Minors

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad has registered a case against six individuals and several unidentified persons associated with a fundamentalist organisation for allegedly running a programme to indoctrinate children aged 10-15 years across the state. The ATS claims the group was attempting to establish a structured "child wing" through training camps and ideological sessions.
Digital forensic analysis of seized electronic devices uncovered videos and materials allegedly documenting the activities of the purported child wing. Investigators say the evidence points to systematic efforts to expose minors to communal and extremist narratives, raising national security concerns.
Searches in Ahilyanagar and Yavatmal districts earlier this year led to the seizure of mobile phones, laptops, hard disks, financial records and organisational documents. A "Summer Islamic Camp" organised by the group in Yavatmal's Pusad city, presented to parents as a religious educational programme, is under scrutiny for allegedly isolating select young participants and exposing them to hardline ideologies.
