Maharashtra Cooperatives Minister Directs Fast-Track Verification of 37,455 Pending Farmer Loan Waiver Cases in Beed

Maharashtra Cooperatives Minister Babasaheb Patil has instructed departments to expedite verification of 37,455 pending farmer loan waiver cases in Beed district during a review meeting at the state secretariat. The directive aims to ensure no eligible farmer is deprived of benefits under existing waiver schemes.

The review covered implementation of three schemes: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shetkari Sanman Yojana-2017, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Shetkari Karjmukti Yojana-2019, and Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Shetkari Karjmukti Yojana-2026. Officials have been instructed to verify cases using online applications, bank records, green lists, and allotment IDs, cross-checking historical and current data against Beed District Central Cooperative Bank records.

Data for 7,864 additional accounts has been provided for verification. The minister directed priority processing of eligible beneficiaries while conducting objective verification of cases not yet on the green list.
