Mechuka Trout Quest draws anglers to Arunachal Pradesh

The annual Mechuka Trout Quest is attracting anglers from across India and internationally to Arunachal Pradesh. The event capitalises on the region's pristine river systems and robust trout populations, establishing the state as a growing destination for adventure tourism.

The quest promotes a catch-and-release fishing culture, balancing recreational angling with environmental conservation. This approach is helping Arunachal Pradesh develop a distinctive niche in the competitive adventure tourism sector.
