Sheena Bora Murder Case: Mikhail Bora Seeks Court Protection Over Death Threat Fears

Mikhail Bora, son of Indrani Mukerjea and key witness in the Sheena Bora murder case, has submitted two letters to the special CBI court expressing apprehension of a threat to his life. The letters, received via courier during Monday's hearing, were opened on Tuesday. In them, Mikhail attached photographs allegedly posted by Indrani on social media and claimed she has travelled to multiple locations, including their house in Guwahati, Assam.
Mikhail, who is also the alleged victim of an attempted murder charge against his mother, expressed faith in the judiciary and hope for justice. He also claimed his education certificates have been forged, preventing him from securing employment, and appealed for the case to conclude soon so he could live securely.
The special court has sought a response from the prosecution. CBI stated it would verify Mikhail's claims about Indrani's travel history and photographs. Indrani's defence lawyer rejected all allegations as false and frivolous, claiming Mikhail is attempting to interfere in judicial proceedings. Indrani's legal team stated she has been unwell for the past 10 days.
