Maharashtra MPSC Reform Panel Receives 20,000+ Suggestions From Exam Aspirants

A Maharashtra government committee tasked with improving the Maharashtra Public Service Commission's functioning has received over 20,000 emails with suggestions from exam aspirants. The feedback covers demands for transparency in paper checking, a fixed examination calendar, and measures to prevent paper leaks.
Examination Reform Committee chairperson V. Radha said the panel will examine standard operating procedures for question-paper distribution, normalisation of marks, and cancellation procedures. The committee, which includes state DGP Sadanand Date and other senior officials, held consultations in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to hear candidates' concerns directly.
Aspirants have prioritised demands for better quality questions, fixed answer keys, timely results, and transparent candidate selection. The high-level task force aims to make the recruitment examination system more transparent, credible, and time-bound.
