MPSC Screening Test Cancelled at Pune and Nanded Centres Amid Paper Leak Allegations

The Maharashtra government's Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department cancelled a screening test for MPSC Combined Group B and C pre-examination training at Sun Bright English Medium School in Pune and Marathwada Online Exam Centre in Nanded on Tuesday. The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research and Training Institute and Vasantrao Naik Research and Training Institute were conducting the examination to select students for the 2026-27 financial year.
The cancellation comes amid ongoing protests by MPSC aspirants in Pune over alleged examination irregularities and paper leaks. The department stated that the test would be conducted again for all students allotted to the two centres, with fresh examination details to be announced on institute websites.
NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar alleged the cancellation was due to another question paper leak. "The question paper is leaked again, that's why they have cancelled it," Pawar said, criticising the government's handling of repeated examination irregularities.
