MVA faces internal friction as coalition partners clash two days before elections

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition in Maharashtra faces mounting internal friction as its constituent parties clash with each other just two days before the state assembly elections. The three-party alliance—comprising the Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Congress—has been unable to prevent public disputes and competing narratives among its partners.
The coalition's cohesion is being tested as individual parties pursue separate electoral strategies and messaging, undermining the unity needed for a coordinated campaign. Senior leaders have expressed concern about the impact of these internal conflicts on voter perception and electoral prospects as voting approaches.
