Nashik Environmentalists Protest Tree-Felling Plan at Tapovan

Environmentalists, social activists, and citizens gathered at Tapovan on Wednesday to protest the proposed plan to fell trees in the area. The 'Tapovan Bachao Andolan' meeting saw participants chanting slogans and expressing concern over a crucial decision set for June 19. Attendees emphasized that Tapovan is vital for the city's environmental balance and air quality.
Organizers resolved to launch a state-wide public movement and awareness campaign to protect the area's ecological significance. Plans include forming a human chain in the region and mobilizing citizens, students, and environmental groups to participate in large numbers. Citizens have vowed to continue their struggle to preserve Tapovan's natural existence and green heritage.
