Navi Mumbai Family Court Promotes Mediation to Resolve Family Disputes Amicably

The Family Court in Belapur, Navi Mumbai, organised a mediation awareness programme on October 3 to promote amicable resolution of family disputes. The event was jointly conducted by the Family Court, Taluka Legal Services Committee and Navi Mumbai Court Bar Association, with Principal Judge Subhash Kafare presiding.
Advocate Manisha Bandgar highlighted the growing need for mediation in family disputes, explaining how it allows both parties to communicate and reach mutually acceptable solutions. Senior advocates Sunil Mokal and Vikas Mhatre also participated in the programme.
A skit presented by members of the court bar association demonstrated the harmful impact of prolonged family conflicts on children, including depression and academic neglect. The performance illustrated how mediation enables estranged parties to understand each other's concerns and resolve disputes without further damaging family bonds.
