NCC flags critical staff shortage and lack of training facility in Maharashtra

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) has raised concerns about significant operational challenges in Maharashtra. The organisation has flagged a critical shortage of staff, ranging from 40 to 60 percent across various positions. Additionally, NCC has pointed out the absence of a dedicated training facility in the state, which hampers its ability to conduct effective cadet training programmes. These infrastructure and human resource gaps are expected to impact the quality and reach of NCC activities in Maharashtra.
