Operation Tiger began 1.5 years ago, claims Nashik MP's father

A Nashik connection has emerged in the political controversy surrounding the alleged "Operation Tiger" launched by Shiv Sena's Eknath Shinde faction. According to Prakash Waje, father of Nashik MP Rajabhau Waje, groundwork for the operation began approximately one-and-a-half years ago when Shinde invited his son to Thane and offered him a chance to join the Shinde-led faction.
On April 14, two associates of Shinde visited the Waje family residence in Sinnar and attempted to persuade Rajabhau Waje to switch sides, offering development funds and arguing that Uddhav Thackeray's party had weakened. Prakash Waje said his son declined, citing his earlier commitment to remain loyal to Shiv Sena (UBT). He also informed senior party leaders about these developments.
