'Operation Tiger' Near Endgame? Shinde Camp Claims 7 UBT MPs Ready To Switch Sides

Political temperatures in Maharashtra have risen once again after a leader from the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena claimed that several MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray camp could soon cross over to his faction.
Shiv Sena MLC Krupal Tumane said discussions with seven MPs from the Shiv Sena (UBT) have reached an advanced stage and hinted that a major political development could take place before Parliament's upcoming Monsoon Session.
According to Tumane, talks with the MPs have been underway for several weeks and are now nearing completion. While he did not reveal the names of the leaders involved, he expressed confidence that the move would materialise soon.
The claim has reignited speculation surrounding "Operation Tiger," a term being used for the alleged effort to bring leaders from the Uddhav Thackeray camp into the Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
However, the Uddhav faction has strongly rejected the claims. Senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut dismissed reports of any split and maintained that all party MPs remain united behind Uddhav Thackeray.
Raut said the party's parliamentary team is intact and accused rivals of spreading rumours to create confusion. He also responded with a counter-political slogan, declaring that the party would launch its own "Operation Wolf."
The remarks came after a meeting of Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs chaired by Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai. Party leaders said all nine MPs attended the gathering, projecting a show of unity amid ongoing political speculation.
