Raj Thackeray to join Pune MPSC protest after MP's defection row

Raj Thackeray, chief of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, will join the Pune MPSC protest, marking his direct involvement in the civil service examination agitation. The decision comes a day after MP Omraje Nimbalkar faced heckling from protesters during his participation in the demonstration.
Nimbalkar's presence at the protest drew sharp reactions from demonstrators, who questioned his participation citing his recent political shift. The MP had defected to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction in June, a move that appears to have made his presence at the agitation contentious among protesters who opposed his political realignment.
Thackeray's announced participation signals the MNS's commitment to the MPSC protest movement, even as the controversy surrounding Nimbalkar's involvement continues to generate discussion among the demonstrators.
