Seven Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs Likely to Defect to Shinde Faction Before Monsoon Session

Shiv Sena MLC Krupal Tumane said on Tuesday that discussions with seven Members of Parliament from Shiv Sena (UBT) under "Operation Tiger" have reached the final stage. He indicated the defections are likely to occur before the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament.

Tumane compared the process to a medical procedure, saying investigations are complete and only the final date needs to be set. "Just like an operation at a hospital, reports have been issued and now only the final date for the procedure needs to be fixed," he said, without disclosing additional details of the talks.
