Shiv Sena's Dussehra Rally Focuses on Drought-Hit Farmers, Shinde To Announce Relief Plan

The Shiv Sena has decided to dedicate its Dussehra rally on October 20 to drought-hit farmers across Maharashtra. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is expected to use the occasion to announce a comprehensive statewide relief plan addressing the agrarian crisis.
Beyond the policy announcement, the rally will also serve as a platform to mobilise party workers for relief efforts. Shinde is likely to assign Shiv Sena members structured roles in implementing and distributing aid to affected farmers, turning the gathering into an operational launchpad for the relief initiative.
The decision reflects the party's focus on agricultural distress, a key concern in rural Maharashtra. By coupling the traditional Dussehra platform with drought relief measures, the Shiv Sena aims to demonstrate both political commitment and grassroots action on the issue.
