Shiv Sena UBT Crisis Deepens as MPs Meet in Delhi Over Operation Tiger

Mumbai: Political tensions within Shiv Sena UBT escalated on Thursday as the party's nine MPs gathered for a crucial meeting at Parliament House in Delhi. The meeting was called amid speculation over rebel MPs and reports that a breakaway group may seek separate recognition in the Lok Sabha. The Thackeray faction issued a whip directing all MPs to attend the 11 am meeting.
The gathering was expected to clarify how many MPs remain loyal to Uddhav Thackeray and whether any leaders plan to formally break ranks. Reports suggested that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had taken note of claims by rebel MPs seeking separate group recognition. The Uddhav Sena camp has reportedly prepared legal strategies to counter any potential split.
On Wednesday, Shiv Sena UBT MP Sanjay Raut launched a sharp attack on suspected rebel MPs, accusing them of betrayal. The outcome of the meeting was expected to determine whether divisions within the party would deepen.
