Shiv Sena UBT Faces Rebellion Concerns as MPs Skip Meeting

Political speculation over alleged 'Operation Tiger' has intensified in Maharashtra after Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray's recent meeting with party MPs saw only four of the nine parliamentarians attend in person, while five joined virtually. The development has triggered discussions over possible unrest within the party.
Reports have circulated for weeks that several Shiv Sena UBT MPs are in contact with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction, with claims that as many as seven of nine MPs could switch sides. There has been no official confirmation of these reports. In response, Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray are reportedly reaching out to dissatisfied leaders to address grievances.
Thackeray has called a meeting of Shiv Sena UBT MLAs on June 22 ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly session, aimed at discussing opposition strategy and party organisational matters while attempting to project unity.
