MPs promised ₹50 crore amid Shiv Sena-UBT rebellion speculation
Speculation has intensified regarding a potential split in the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray-led Shiv Sena's parliamentary unit. Sanjay Raut, a senior party leader, claimed that some MPs are being offered ₹50 crore in what appears to be an attempt to poach them from the faction.
The allegations come as the Shiv Sena-UBT faces internal pressures. Raut's claim suggests efforts to weaken the party's strength in the Lok Sabha, though he did not specify who was allegedly making the offers.
