Six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs Set To Back Eknath Shinde In 'Operation Tiger'

In a significant political setback for Shiv Sena (UBT), six Lok Sabha MPs from the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray-led faction are reportedly set to extend support to the Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in a move described as "Operation Tiger."
The six MPs—Omraje Nimbalkar, Nagesh Patil Ashtikar, Sanjay Deshmukh, Sanjay Jadhav, Sanjay Dina Patil, and Bhausaheb Wakchaure—are currently in New Delhi and expected to submit a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, formally informing him about the formation of a separate group backing the Shinde faction.
The defection of six out of the UBT's nine Lok Sabha MPs represents a major blow to Uddhav Thackeray's efforts to maintain parliamentary unity and significantly weakens the faction's strength in Parliament.
