Thane-Belapur Road To Shut Four Nights For Airoli-Katai Naka Flyover Work

The Thane-Belapur Road in Navi Mumbai will remain closed on four nights this month between 11 pm and 6 am to facilitate girder installation work on the Airoli-Katai Naka flyover. Closures are scheduled for October 4 and October 9 to 11. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is conducting the work near Bharat Bijlee and Siemens companies in Airoli as part of the final-stage construction of the flyover.
The Navi Mumbai Traffic Department has announced diversions to manage traffic flow. Six-wheelers and larger vehicles from Thane towards Belapur will be diverted via internal MIDC roads from Mukund Company in Digha. Four-wheelers must turn right at Bharat Bijlee Chowk, left at Airoli Fire Brigade Chowk, and proceed via Khedekar Chowk. For traffic from Belapur towards Thane, diversions will use Rabale Naka signal and internal MIDC roads via Mukund Company. Residents are urged to plan journeys accordingly and use designated alternative routes.
