45-Foot RCC Mixer Vessel Truck Gets Stuck in Tree on Bhiwandi-Wada Road, Traffic Disrupted for 3 Hours

A truck transporting a 45-foot-long vessel for an RCC mixer plant became stuck in a tree on the Bhiwandi-Wada Road near Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Flyover, opposite Huda Hospital, on Saturday morning. The vehicle, travelling from Pune towards Ambadi, could neither move forward nor reverse, trapping the heavy load and disrupting traffic on the busy route.
Police and fire brigade teams responded immediately after receiving information about the incident. The vessel had become entangled in the tree, requiring careful manoeuvring to avoid further obstruction or damage. The coordinated rescue operation lasted nearly three hours, during which teams worked to safely extricate the oversized load from the obstruction.
The incident occurred during morning hours when vehicular movement on the Bhiwandi-Wada Road was relatively heavy. Traffic towards both Bhiwandi and Wada was affected, raising concerns about congestion for school buses and other vehicles. Police personnel managed traffic at the spot while firefighters worked on extraction.
After sustained efforts, the truck and vessel were successfully freed and moved to the roadside. Vehicular movement gradually returned to normal following the operation, and no injuries were reported in the incident.
