Union Team to Assess Maharashtra's Drought Situation

A team comprising officials from 10 central government departments and agencies will assess the drought situation in Maharashtra. The team includes representatives from the finance and agriculture departments, as well as NITI Aayog, according to the state's agriculture minister.

The visit aims to evaluate the severity of drought conditions across the state and determine the scale of central assistance required for relief measures.
