Uttarakhand govt says thermal power procurement follows prescribed rules
The Uttarakhand government has stated that its proposed procurement of 1320 MW of thermal power is being carried out according to prescribed rules and procedures.
A state official clarified that there is no restriction on setting up power plants in Uttarakhand. Any company establishing a facility in the state and offering electricity at competitive tariffs can participate in the prescribed procurement process.
